This was the question at the heart of SomCol ThinkLab, a new research programme Somerset College launched in 2026. Designed to introduce students to the principles and practices of university-level research while they are still at school, ThinkLab allows students to identify questions that matter to their school community, investigate them systematically, and produce original academic research that can be used to make informed decisions on campus.
