The Somerset College Cricket Department is celebrating an incredible series of achievements by three of our coaches, whose dedication and passion for the game have earned them well-deserved provincial appointments.
Mr Rudolph Buys has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Boland U19 Coke Team. This prestigious role recognises his outstanding leadership, technical insight, and ability to inspire young players to perform at their best.
Mr Wayne Bosch will serve as the Assistant Coach of the Boland U17 Rural Team, where his commitment to player development and team culture will no doubt make a strong impact on the province’s emerging cricket talent.
Mr Hilton Toro has been named Team Manager for the Western Province U16 side, an appointment that highlights his professionalism, organisational skills, and deep understanding of youth cricket.
These achievements reflect the depth of coaching expertise within our Cricket Department and underscore Somerset College’s growing reputation as a hub for cricket excellence. We are immensely proud of Mr Buys, Mr Bosch and Mr Toro, and we wish them every success as they take their experience and enthusiasm to the provincial stage.
