An additional hockey Astro will enhance our training programme and be more holistically beneficial for players and coaches. Training will be able to finish much earlier, and it will eliminate the need to have 3 teams using the Astro in the same slot. It frees up more time for the Prep School, there will no longer be any need for Prep School sessions on the grass fields. Increased Astro exposure = more improvements. During Prep school matchdays, there will be no need for grass matches as we will have the capacity to play all matches on Astro. We will also be able to add specialist and technical sessions in the Senior School to develop skills currently not possible during team sessions. These will be available to all players.
