On Monday 15 March 16 tennis players from Somerset College played against Dirkie Uys High School in Moorreesburg. The College players did well to win this annual derby clash by 21 matches to 11.
Liam Watson, Sharlene Chigariro, Oliver Pritchett, Lisa Verwey, Aidan Sanders, Caroline Morris, Daniël Gräbe, Mia Hosking, Ben Conolly, Isabella Pritchett, Chris Justus, Zara Hingeston, Aidan Beattie, Helene Goosen, Ewan Holtzhausen and Ava Retief were the players who represented Somerset College in this match.
Singles, doubles, and mixed doubles were played. The College players who excelled by being unbeaten on the day, were: Aidan Sanders, Daniël Gräbe, Lisa Verwey, Caroline Morris, Mia Hosking, and Ava Retief.
